Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) / Großostheim (Germany) – Sustainability thrives through action – under this motto, Logwin employees took part in a planting event on October 25, 2025, in the Oberhübnerwald near Stockstadt. Together with forestry experts, 200 climate-resistant trees, including Atlas cedars and red oaks, were planted as an active contribution to reforestation and local forest protection.
The 140-year-old pine and spruce stand in this area had been severely damaged in recent years due to bark beetle infestations, windthrow, and drought. Particularly the spruce stands had been almost completely destroyed, leaving large open areas. The planting initiative aims at sustainable reforestation to counteract the spread of blackberry bushes and grasses and to ensure a stable forest generation for the future.
