III. Concrete data handling processes
As a matter of principle, we collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary for the provision of the website and the rendering of the services related thereto.
1. Data collection and processing when visiting our websites
When you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily save each access in a log file. The following data is recorded and stored until it is automatically deleted:
- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
- Name and URL of the retrieved file
- Quantity of data transferred
- Message whether the retrieval was successful
- identification data of the browser and operating system used
- website from which the access takes place
- Browser, language and version of the browser software
- Operating system and its interface
- Name of your Internet access provider
With this information, you, the user, cannot be personally identified by us. This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the websites (connection establishment), system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and for the optimisation of the Internet offer on the basis of our corresponding legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR. The IP address will only be evaluated in case of attacks on the network infrastructure of Logwin.
The data will be stored for a period of 30 days each and then automatically deleted.
2. Contact requests, document download, job alert
a) Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we will use your data to process your enquiry or request for quotation in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR on the basis of your and our legitimate interests in answering your enquiry or request for quotation. As a rule, your enquiries or requests for quotation will remain stored for a period of one year after they have been answered and are then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to store them (e.g. in case of commercial or business letters, usually for six years) or the storage is otherwise required. If you order information material, we will use the address data provided only to process the order.
We will forward contact requests to the appropriate office within the Logwin Group for the best possible processing depending on the subject of your request and/or your location.
b) Document download
If you want to use the functions for downloading documents (e.g. compensation report), you must register by providing an e-mail address. We will then send you an e-mail with a confirmation link. By clicking on the confirmation link you will be taken directly to the environment for document download. We will use your data exclusively to provide access to the documents. Data processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the proper provision and use of the information to be made publicly available by Logwin AG in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR.
Your email address will be automatically deleted within 72 hours. Moreover, you can request deletion at any time, for example, by email to dataprivacy@logwin-logistics·com.
c) Job-Alert
You can register for an email notification about job offers (‘Job Alert’). We use a double-opt-in procedure to register for the Job Alert. This means that once you have registered, we will ask you to confirm by email that you actually want to receive the Job Alert. The email addresses of unconfirmed registrations will be deleted after 4 weeks at the latest. When you confirm your registration, we store your IP address and the times of registration and confirmation in order to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data. The only mandatory information for the Job Alert is only your email address. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your prior consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1a GDPR.
You can revoke your consent to receive the Job Alert at any time, for example, by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in any Job Alert email.
3. Cookies
Among other things, our websites use so-called cookies.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. We would like to point out that some of these cookies are transferred from our server to your computer system, whereby these are so-called session cookies. ‘Session cookies’ are characterised by the fact that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session.
You determine whether cookies can be collected by setting your browser in such a way that you are informed before a cookie is stored and storage only takes place if you expressly accept this. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of these websites to their full extent.

Google Analytics
Provided that you have given your consent, Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service of Google LLC, will be used on this website. The controller of the data file for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).
Scope of processing
Google Analytics applies cookies, which allow for an analysis of your use of our websites. As a general rule, the information generated by means of the cookies about your use of our website will be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
We utilize a user ID function. With the aid of the user ID, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to one or multiple sessions (and the activities within these sessions) and analyze user behavior across devices.
At Google Analytics 4, IP address anonymization is standard by default. Based on IP anonymization, your IP address will be abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a server in the USA and abbreviated there. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data of Google.
During a website visit, your user behavior is collected in the form of “events. Events can be:
- page loads
- a first-time visit to the website
- the start of the session
- your “click path” interaction with the website
- scrolls (always if a user scrolls to the end of the page (90%))
- clicks on external links
- internal search queries
- interaction with videos
- file downloads
- advertisements viewed/clicked
- language setting
Also collected is:
- your approximate location (region)
- your IP address (in abbreviated form)
- technical information on your browser and the terminal devices you use (e.g., language setting, screen resolution)
- your Internet provider
- the referrer URL (by which website/by which advertisements you came to this website)
Purposes of the processing
Google will utilize this information on behalf of the website operator in order to analyze your use of the website and to compile reports about the website activities. The reports supplied by Google Analytics serve to provide an analysis of our website performance.
Recipients
The recipients of the data are/may be:
• Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as the processor pursuant to art. 28 GDPR)

It cannot be precluded that US-American regulatory authorities gain access to the data stored by Google.
Third-country transfer
To the extent that data is processed outside of the EU/EEA and there is no data protection level corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contract clauses with the service provider to establish a commensurate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, has its registered office in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access to the data stored with Google by US-American regulatory authorities cannot be precluded. The USA is currently considered to be a third country from a data protection law perspective. You do not have the same rights there as exist in the EU/EEA. It is possible that you have no legal remedies against access by regulatory authorities.
Storage duration
The data we transmit and that is associated with cookies will be automatically deleted after 2 months. The deletion of data that has reached its storage term will automatically occur once per month.
Legal basis
The legal basis for this data processing is your consent according to art. 6 par.1 clause 1 lit. a GDPR [IF PERTINENT: art. 49a GDPR].
Withdrawal
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by retrieving the cookie settings and changing your selection there. The legality of the processing done based on consent up until the withdrawal remains unaffected thereby.
You may also prevent the storage of cookies in the first place through a corresponding setting in your browser software. However, if you configure your browser so that all cookies are refused, this may result in limitations on the functionalities on this and other websites. In addition, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as its processing by Google in that you:

5. Data receiver
We may use external technical service providers who work exclusively on our behalf and are not allowed to process personal data for their own purposes, in particular service providers for hosting, website analysis and statistics, sending mailings and newsletters, CRM, spam and abuse prevention. Of course, we also comply with all data protection regulations and oblige our service providers to do so as far as is necessary.
6. Data security
We take technical and organisational measures in accordance with the requirements of Art. 32 GDPR to protect the personal data of the user.
All our employees involved in the processing of personal data are bound to secrecy.
The user's personal data is encrypted using HTTPS when transmitted to the website.
Your personal data is also transferred encrypted via SSL over the Internet during transfer recording, the tracking and SCM system and enquiries or requests for quotation.
You should always keep your access information confidential and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share the computer with other people.
IV. Rights of the data subject
If your personal data are processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you are entitled to the following rights against the Controller:

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on Art. 6, para. 1 lit. f GDPR (Art. 21, para. 1 GDPR).
