I did not find a suitable open position. Can I send an unsolicited application?
Yes, absolutely! You can do this at any time via our contact form or by sending an email to HR.info@logwin-logistics·com.

Should I apply with paper documents or via email?
We prefer applications via email. Please send them to HR.info@logwin-logistics·com.

Does Logwin allow its employees to from home?
For positions that are not organized in shifts (e.g. in the warehouse), Logwin generally allows working remotely.

How can I apply for a job abroad?
Applying for a job abroad is very simple through the applicant portal or unsolicited application.

What should applicants from non-EU countries be aware of?
Please attach a current work and residence permit to your application documents.
 

Our (online) application process

I like one of the advertised positions! How do I apply?
You can apply for our advertised positions directly through the job portal with just a few clicks. A cover letter, your most recent school or employer references, and other forms can be uploaded there. In your cover letter, please tell us what got you interested in Logwin (and the job, if applicable), what makes you stand out apart from school or work, and why you could well imagine a professional future with us.

How long does it take to get feedback on my application?
Initial feedback is sent via email immediately after all required documents have been uploaded. This is the first step to ensure that everything has gone smoothly from a technical point of view.

After that, we need some time to take a good look at everything, because every application deserves that! We will then get back to you within about 2 - 3 weeks and give you our answer.

Can I delete or withdraw my application after I have sent it?
No, this is not possible via our applicant portal.

Who sees the data I enter and how long is it stored?
Before the application is uploaded and finalized, the reading of the privacy policy must be confirmed. The data will be stored until after the end of the application process or up to six months.

Apprenticeships

When should I start applying for apprenticeships?
The apprenticeship system is different in each country. The best thing to do is to see if all the information is available in the advertised position and contact the people named there if you have any queries. In many countries, there is also the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which provides information about individual professions, processes and general information about starting an apprenticeship. 

However, as a large company, we usually plan the search for our trainees a year in advance. So it is by no means premature to start looking for an apprenticeship and applying at the beginning of your last school year!

I liked several apprenticeship positions you offer at the moment. Can I only apply for one position?
You are welcome to apply for several training positions! To do so, please submit your application to all those positions on our job portal for which you would like to be considered in the application process. Or, in the case of an unsolicited application, include in the cover letter which training positions are suitable for you.

Where can I find more tips for starting my apprenticeship?
In many countries, there are Chambers of Commerce and Industry that are responsible for the interests of all commercial enterprises and offer up-to-date tips on topics such as application documents, the application process and so on. In Germany, this institution is called “IHK” – Industrie- und Handelskammer.

What are my chances of being taken on after my apprenticeship?
We usually turn trainees with solid performance into long-time employees!

Are there opportunities for further training after the apprenticeship?
Of course there are! We offer our trainees and employees a wide range of opportunities for personal development!

School and student internships

How can I apply for a school or student internship?
Please send your application exclusively to HR.info@logwin-logistics·com, or use our contact form.

Your documents will then be reviewed by our HR department and the heads of the respective departments. Our tip: Tell us something exciting about yourself and help us to get a good first impression of you and your talents!

You are also welcome to have someone else read through your documents before you send them off. Have parents, grandparents or friends take a look at them. This can help you to gain a fresh perspective, not forget anything, and find that last spelling mistake.

Is a school internship paid?
Internships for students under the age of 18 are unpaid and are intended to serve as a non-binding trial period for a future job.

How long should a school or student internship last ideally?
Student internships can vary in length, but they often last 2 -4 weeks. Often, the school specifies the exact length (e.g., in Germany for a career exploration internship in 9th or 10th grade). With students from the university or college level, we have made the experience that an internship should last at least 3-6 months (accompanying the university courses) in order to achieve ideal learning effects.

How should I prepare for the selection interview for my internship?
You could, for example, prepare yourself by reading through the job description you are most interested in. You can also take a closer look at the Logwin homepage again and note any questions you might want to ask us.
