With the following information we explain which of your personal data we collect when you visit our websites, use our online services provided there and how we use your data. 

By using our websites, you agree to the processing of the your personal data collected in the manner described below and for the purposes stated.

III. Concrete data handling processes 

As a matter of principle, we collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary for the provision of the website and the rendering of the services related thereto.

1. Data collection and processing when visiting our websites 

When you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily save each access in a log file. The following data is recorded and stored until it is automatically deleted:

• IP address of the requesting computer
• Date and time of access
• Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
• Name and URL of the retrieved file
• Quantity of data transferred
• Message whether the retrieval was successful
• identification data of the browser and operating system used
• website from which the access takes place
• Browser, language and version of the browser software 
• Operating system and its interface 
• Name of your Internet access provider

With this information, you, the user, cannot be personally identified by us. This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the websites (connection establishment), system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and for the optimisation of the Internet offer on the basis of our corresponding legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR. The IP address will only be evaluated in case of attacks on the network infrastructure of Logwin.

The data will be stored for a period of 30 days each and then automatically deleted.

2. Order tracking, contact requests, enquiries, document download, job alert

a) Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we will use your data to process your enquiry or request for quotation in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR on the basis of your and our legitimate interests in answering your enquiry or request for quotation. As a rule, your enquiries or requests for quotation will remain stored for a period of one year after they have been answered and are then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to store them (e.g. in case of commercial or business letters, usually for six years) or the storage is otherwise required. If you order information material, we will use the address data provided only to process the order. 

We will forward contact requests to the appropriate office within the Logwin Group for the best possible processing depending on the subject of your request and/or your location. 

b) Shipment registration / tracking system / SCM system

To use the functions for shipment registration / tracking system / SCM system, it is necessary to create a user account. When registering, you must provide at least the mandatory information marked as such (name, company, business address, business e-mail address). You will then be assigned a user name and password.

We will store this data as long as you do not delete your user account. You can delete your user account at any time, for example, by email to dataprivacy@logwin-logistics.com. The legal basis for the data processing is your and our legitimate interest in the provision and use of the functions for shipment registration / tracking system / SCM system in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR.

c) Enquiries

For enquiries or requests for quotation about our general cargo / gateway services, the creation of a user account is required. When registering, you must provide at least the mandatory information marked as such (name, company, VAT-ID, business address, business e-mail address and telephone number).

We will store this data as long as you do not delete your user account. You can delete your user account at any time, for example, by email to booking.support@logwin-logistics.com. The legal basis for the data processing is your and our legitimate interest in the preparation of offers in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f DSGVO. If required, we will transfer your data to Logwin Air + Ocean Deutschland GmbH for further contractual processing, who will be your contract partner upon conclusion of a agreement.

d) Document download

If you want to use the functions for downloading documents (e.g. compensation report), you must register by providing an e-mail address. We will then send you an e-mail with a confirmation link. By clicking on the confirmation link you will be taken directly to the environment for document download. We will use your data exclusively to provide access to the documents. Data processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the proper provision and use of the information to be made publicly available by Logwin AG in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR.

Your email address will be automatically deleted within 72 hours. Moreover, you can request deletion at any time, for example, by email to dataprivacy@logwin-logistics.com.

e) Job Alert

You can register for an email notification about job offers (‘Job Alert’). We use a double-opt-in procedure to register for the Job Alert. This means that once you have registered, we will ask you to confirm by email that you actually want to receive the Job Alert. The email addresses of unconfirmed registrations will be deleted after 4 weeks at the latest. When you confirm your registration, we store your IP address and the times of registration and confirmation in order to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data. The only mandatory information for the Job Alert is only your email address. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your prior consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1a GDPR.

You can revoke your consent to receive the Job Alert at any time, for example, by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in any Job Alert email. 

 

3. Cookies

Among other things, our websites use so-called cookies.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. We would like to point out that some of these cookies are transferred from our server to your computer system, whereby these are so-called session cookies. ‘Session cookies’ are characterised by the fact that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session. 

You determine whether cookies can be collected by setting your browser in such a way that you are informed before a cookie is stored and storage only takes place if you expressly accept this. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of these websites to their full extent.

We use session cookies to provide the functions for registered users. If and to the extent the use of cookies is technically necessary. 

Specificities Gateway-Service (“quote”):
On the site quote.logwin-logistics.com we also use so-called “permanent cookies”. Furthermore the web analysis service Google Analytics is used within the scope of the online gateway services under quote.logwin-logistics.com. Google Analytics uses its own cookies. Further explanations can be found under number 4.

4. Google Analytics

On the site quote.logwin-logistics.com we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (‘Google’), for the purpose of tailoring the site to your needs and continuous optimisation. This takes place on the basis of your prior consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1a GDPR.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files, which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

This sets an opt-out cookie that prevents future collection of your information when you visit this site. Please note that it must be reset after deleting all cookies. 

In addition, we point out that Google Analytics has been extended by the code ‘_anonymizeIp();’ in order to ensure that IP addresses are only evaluated anonymously on quote.logwin-logistics.com.

The personal data collected by Google and linked to cookies, user ID or advertising ID (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android Advertising ID, Apple's Advertising ID) are automatically deleted after 14 months.

5. External Links

If you use external links that are offered within the framework of our websites, this Data Privacy Statement does not extend to these links. If we offer links, we assure that at the time of setting the link, no violations of applicable law were discernible on the linked websites. However, we have no influence on the compliance with data protection and security regulations by other providers. Therefore, please also inform yourself on the websites of the other providers about the data protection declarations provided there. Logwin is not obliged to check these constantly. 

6. Data receiver

We may use external technical service providers who work exclusively on our behalf and are not allowed to process personal data for their own purposes, in particular service providers for hosting, website analysis and statistics, sending mailings and newsletters, CRM, spam and abuse prevention. Of course, we also comply with all data protection regulations and oblige our service providers to do so as far as is necessary.

7. Data security

We take technical and organisational measures in accordance with the requirements of Art. 32 GDPR to protect the personal data of the user. 

All our employees involved in the processing of personal data are bound to secrecy. 

The user's personal data is encrypted using HTTPS when transmitted to the website.

Your personal data is also transferred encrypted via SSL over the Internet during transfer recording, the tracking and SCM system and enquiries or requests for quotation. 

You should always keep your access information confidential and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share the computer with other people. 

IV. Rights of the data subject

If your personal data are processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you are entitled to the following rights against the Controller:

• Right to information,
• Right to rectification or deletion,
• Right to restriction of processing,
• Right to object to processing,
• Right to data portability.

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on Art. 6, para. 1 lit. f GDPR (Art. 21, para. 1 GDPR). 


You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us. The competent data protection supervisory authority to which (besides other supervisory authorities) a complaint about a breach of data protection law can be lodged is:

V. Inclusion, validity and topicality of the Data Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to change the Data Privacy Statement with effect for the future. If user consents are required or components of the Data Privacy Statement contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes will only be made with the consent of the users.
