How did you join Logwin?
Organizational activities, foreign languages, and working with people have fascinated me since my school days. After graduating from high school in 2017, I spent a year abroad in Australia and New Zealand. After doing my own research, I came across the cooperative education program at Logwin and started the “Freight Forwarding, Shipping, and Logistics” dual study program in 2018. Today, I work as an airfreight export specialist in operational cargo handling.
Why do you like working at Logwin?
I really like how people interact with each other at the company. Coworkers always support each other and try to make the best out of every situation. I particularly felt this when writing my bachelor’s thesis – I received help from absolutely everyone when it came to researching data.
What opportunities has Logwin offered you?
As a result of the cooperative education program, I was offered a full-time position at Frankfurt Airport. I was already able to familiarize myself with various areas and departments at Logwin during this time and determine my own career preferences. That’s how I discovered airfreight for myself. Being in an international environment, I deal with people from different cultural backgrounds every day and enjoy the diverse environment that my job at the airport offers me. It never gets boring – that’s also the reason why I chose Logwin. Beyond that, I see many more potential career opportunities at Logwin. I started the two-year Abroad@Logwin program in October 2022 and have been at the Dubai branch ever since.
Which of the four Logwin attributes – close by, professional, dedicated, and international – do you identify with the most, and why?
International. This is both the greatest opportunity and challenge for me in my current position.
Do you have a personal motto?
Always keep going. Everyone has difficult days once in a while. The important thing is to keep fighting and believe in yourself.
Do you have a dream destination that’s still on your bucket list?
Japan.
