Well positioned - despite Lockdown
The latest Covid19 developments are having a huge impact on public life and local economic processes. Nevertheless, Logwin has continued to successfully serve client needs in India. The basis for this is the excellent networking of our dedicated local teams with the rest of the global Logwin network. Many clients in the manufacturing as well as consumer goods sector use Logwin's reliable logistics services in India. The services include international air and sea freight, customs clearance, project handling and warehousing.
Our Ethics – Taking responsibility
We take responsibility for our employees every day and safeguard our client‘s supply chains. As a global organization, it goes without saying that we also accept social responsibility. Quick and uncomplicated. That is what is currently required in India. Quick and prompt assistance. That is why we are supporting our long-term partner, the children's rights organization Save the Children, which has set up a Corona Emergency Relief Fund in India, with a generous financial donation.
Save the Children is working closely with the authorities in India and is working hard to support particularly vulnerable children and their families. The children's rights organization focuses on education and supports immunization campaigns. Most importantly, the organization is strengthening its health programs to provide life-saving medical support, such as quarantine centers, ambulances, food and psychosocial support for children.
Social Commitment - Sustainable Partnership
Logwin and Save the Children have been working together on various projects since 2011. The cooperation goes well beyond financial donations. Among other things, Logwin has already actively supported the transport of relief goods with its own logistics services, and has also organized employee events together with Save the Children. India has also been a topic of discussion in the past. During a workshop with trainees, the challenges in humanitarian aid were explored together with Save the Children, at the end of which Logwin provided financial support for an education project in India. Responsibility does not end at the company gate - especially in times of a pandemic.
