Measures to manage the risks from the spread of the Corona Virus (Covid-19 / SARS-CoV-2)

March 20th, 2020

We are closely monitoring the rapid spread of the corona virus and the official measures and requirements imposed by the authorities worldwide, currently particularly in Europe. As a result, Logwin has taken a wide range of measures to deal with the risks associated with the spread of the corona virus.

The safety and health of our employees and the employees of our business partners is a top priority. In addition to preventive personal measures, we have also taken comprehensive organizational measures to avoid or minimize the risk of disruption to logistical and administrative processes. The measures we take are closely aligned with the specifications of the WHO and the Robert Koch Institute.

The majority of our subsidiaries worldwide continue to operate, albeit to a limited extent in some cases. Capacity shortages, loss of route connections, increases in rates and travel restrictions lead to significant difficulties in the provision of services worldwide, in particular to longer transit times for sea, air and land freight and even to the impossibility of providing services.

Land transport in particular has been severely affected by recent developments in Europe. Therefore, several European branches have to reduce their operational activities, in some cases substantially.

Against this background, we are in close coordination with our partners and check the handling of our customers' shipments or orders on a daily basis.

We ask for your kind understanding that, in view of the given situation, we cannot accept any liability for the consequences of this pandemic should there be any restrictions in our logistical services.
