Logwin present at the international exhibition Marintec
Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) – The logistics services provider Logwin will be present at the international exhibition Marintec China taking place in Shanghai from 1 to 4 December 2009. More than 110 well-known companies from Germany will be presenting their latest developments and maritime know-how in the "German Pavilion" at Marintec. Logwin is currently the only officially registered full-service logistics service provider on the joint German stand.
Among other things, Logwin will be informing exhibition visitors about its Ship Parts Logistics service, a complete service package providing ships with urgent construction and spare parts. Logwin assumes responsibility for purchasing, transportation, consolidation and transit clearance for the required ships parts. The logistics specialist delivers the products direct on board the vessel – whether in the shipyard or on the open sea. Customers are kept up to date at all times about the current status of their shipment via the "Logwin Boat" IT platform. At the same time, the IT tool enables logistics processes to be efficiently controlled, since it manages, for example, the stocks in the Logwin service centers around the world.
A total of more than 1,200 exhibitors of the maritime industry will be presenting their products, solutions and innovations at Marintec China 2009. These include companies involved in shipbuilding and marine technology as well as industrial and commercial partners specializing in the industry. The 50,000 square meters of the exhibition is fully booked. The organizers of Asia’s most important industry exhibition are expecting 36,000 trade visitors.
