Logwin celebrates 20th anniversary in Thailand and Vietnam

Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) – The logistics service provider Logwin will be celebrating a milestone 20th anniversary in Thailand and Vietnam at the end of the year. "We recognized early on that an extensive logistics network in Asia is necessary for successful customer projects", says Helmut Kaspers, COO Air + Ocean at Logwin AG. "Besides Thailand and Vietnam we have a presence for our customers through our own locations in eight other Asian countries, some of which have existed for more than 35 years."
Logwin in Thailand
Logwin was launched in Thailand in 1989 with a staff of just three. Two of these original employees still work for the local company in Thailand. Logwin now employs a total of 74 people at three locations. The locations can be found in the Bangkok metropolitan region - at the ports of Klong Toey and Laem Chabang, Thailand's largest port, and at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Logwin in Vietnam
Logwin also looks back on 20 years of company history in Vietnam. The logistics service provider today has a staff of 40 and operations locations in Vietnam's largest cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Hai Phong. There is a total of 4,000 sq. m. of storage space available at these three locations - for example, Logwin uses a 2,000 sq. m. warehouse near Hanoi for high-quality textile goods.
Logwin's portfolio of services in Thailand and Vietnam include freight management, warehousing and customs clearance as well as comprehensive value-added services. Customers from various industries such as automotive, fashion and medical benefit from this expertise.
