Ad hoc Announcement from Thiel Logistik AG concerning Sales and Income for the Period from January to September 2004
Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) - Thiel Logistik Group achieved an operating income (EBIT) of € 21.6 million in the period from January 1, 2004 to September 30, 2004 which is much higher than the previous year figure of € 4.0 million on a comparable basis.
Sales rose significantly by +5.9 % from € 1,234 million to € 1,307 million. In addition, gross margin was increased from 7.3 % to 7.7 %. Net income for the nine months to September 30, 2004 amounted to € 1.4 million. Gross cash flow more than doubled to € 52.7 million compared to the first half of 2004 and free cash flow amounted to € 32 million.
