Logwin opens new location at Münster/Osnabrück Airport

Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) – The logistics service provider Logwin opened a customer services office at Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) at the beginning of this year. The service focus is on customs clearance for the import and export of air freight consignments.
"We used to support the region around Münster from our locations in Hanover and Düsseldorf", says Stefan Schwind, Country Director Germany at the Logwin business segment Air + Ocean. "Our new airport office means that we can support our customers locally and provide them with even better service." Location manager is Helmut Tietmeyer. The 52-year old has more than 30 years of experience in the air freight business.

The international commercial airport at Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) is situated in the urban district of Greven, about 25 kilometers from Münster and 35 kilometers from Osnabrück. In 2009 around 1.4 million passengers passed through the airport, and approximately 12,000 tonnes of air freight were shipped. Besides the region around Münster, FMO also serves the northern part of the Ruhr area, the south-west of Lower Saxony all the way up to the Emsland region and eastern Westphalia-Lippe as well as parts of the Netherlands. The region’s economy is made up predominantly of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the automotive, plastics, engineering, food and textile industries.
