Logwin gains new customers in Spain
Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) – Orders from the fields of fashion, television and print – recently the global logistics service provider Logwin implemented logistics solutions for the Anjara García fashion label, for television broadcaster TV3 and for specialist publisher Editorial Quintessence S.L. The services for the new Spanish customers have been tailored to meet the individual needs of their respective industries.
Fashion around the world
Logwin organizes international procurement and distribution logistics for the designer label Anjara García. “Our long-standing experience in the fashion field is of great advantage for fashion producers,” says Joachim Hesse, Country Director of Logwin’s national company in Spain. “We use our logistics network to map the entire supply chain.” The logistics service provider collects the women'’ fashion articles from the production facilities in China and bundles the goods in its warehouse in Shanghai before transporting them by sea and air freight to Spain. The very first shipment consisted of 18,000 garments. The goods are then stored temporarily at Logwin’s Madrid location before being picked. Logwin finally distributes the fashion articles via its textile logistics network all over Europe, delivering to retailers and department stores. The logistics specialist serves Canada and the USA by air freight via its network of partners.
Well stored in Barcelona
The Catalan television broadcaster TV3 has commissioned Logwin to store its video archive. To this end the logistics service provider has established a special warehouse at its Barcelona location where the temperature never exceeds 24 degrees – perfect conditions for 60,000 video tapes. Once a month Logwin takes a selection of the data media to be digitalized and then transports them back to the Logwin store.
Editorial Quintessence S.L. is a specialist publishing house for journals relating to dentistry, oral medicine and maxillofacial surgery. Logwin manages the warehousing for its print products. Logwin employees take delivery of freshly printed goods at the company’s Barcelona location and commit them to store. The logistics specialist processes orders from book shops all over Spain each day. Warehouse staff pick and pack the ordered books for delivery. Logwin also carries out of all shipments over 50 kg to the points of sale all over Spain.
