Ad-hoc: Logwin AG sells Road + Rail business activities in Vorarlberg (Austria), Switzerland and Hungary
Ad hoc notification pursuant to Section 15 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz)
Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) – Logwin AG (ISIN: LU0106198319) has sold its Road + Rail business activities in Vorarlberg (Austria), Switzerland and Hungary to JCL Logistics. An agreement to that effect has been executed today. Subject to cartel clearance by the competition authorities, the transaction shall be completed in the first six months of 2010. Logwin AG thereby continues the streamlining of its Road + Rail business activities.
Revenues of the sold business activities amounted to approximately EUR 170 million in 2009. The disposal will result in a book loss of approximately EUR 12 million and generate cash proceeds of approximately EUR 9 million.
