Logwin sells Tank & Silo business to GREIWING logistics for you GmbH®
Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) – The international logistics service provider Logwin is selling its Tank & Silo activities of the Logwin Road + Rail Deutschland GmbH to GREIWING logistics for you GmbH® based in Greven in North Rhine-Westphalia as part of an asset deal. The sale is effective as of 1 April 2010 and is part of Logwin’s initiated streamlining of land transportation activities in its business segment Road + Rail.
The Tank & Silo business is run from sites in Ludwigshafen, Ulm (with a branch in Burgberg) and in Weiden. The focus of its activities is the transportation, warehousing and handling of products for bulk logistics. Around 100 employees are currently generating sales of approximately 22 million euro.
GREIWING logistics for you GmbH® is a family-owned, medium-sized, internationally operating logistics company. Up until now they have operated from six sites and employ more than 300 workers in the main business fields of bulk logistics, food bulk logistics and other logistics projects. Through its purchase of the Tank & Silo activities from Logwin Road + Rail Deutschland GmbH, Greiwing is seeking to strengthen its core competencies through the optimised use of synergies.
