JCL Logistics acquires Dutch Logwin Road+Rail subsidiary
Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) – The international logistics service provider Logwin divests its 100% shareholding in the Dutch subsidiary Logwin Road + Rail The Netherlands B.V. to the Austrian JCL Logistics Group, with its headquarters located in Werndorf. The acquisition was finalized by the signage of the contract on 2 December. The divesture of the shares is part of the streamlining of the land transportation activities within the Logwin Group and has no effect neither on Logwin’s sea- and airfreight services in the Netherlands, nor on any activities of its Belgium subsidiary Logwin Road + Rail Belgium BVBA, which remains in the Logwin Group.
The whole transaction was supported by the managing director of the Dutch company, who will in future be shareholder of the target company.
Logwin Road + Rail The Netherlands B.V. operates logistics activities on its three locations in Valkensvaard, Beringe and Moscow. The company mainly operates European bulk- , part and full truck loads and offers as well warehousing and value added services. In 2000, the Dutch organization was taken over by Microlog AG, which was integrated into the Logwin Group in 2002.
The Dutch organization will seamlessly be integrated into the organizational structure of JCL Logistics and will offer its services under the brand name JCL Logistics.
