Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) - Thiel Logistik AG, Grevenmacher (Luxembourg), is posting a further decline in earnings for fiscal year 2002, based on preliminary figures. The preliminary operating income (EBIT) 2002 will amount to 1.5 million euros, following 65.1 million euros in 2001. Preliminary sales will come to 1.5 billion euros, against 901.7 million euros in 2001. These figures include the 4th quarter 2002 sales and negative result of the Microlog Logistics AG, Frankfurt/Main, subsidiary. All identifiable risks will be taken into account in the annual financial statements for 2002. The company is holding firmly to its projections for 2003. The Board will give detailed information on the preliminary sales and earnings figures in telephone conferences with analysts and representatives of the press on February 21, 2003.
