Subsequently Head of Division and member of the Division Board of Management with responsibility for Group Accounting and Controlling at Bayerische Vereinsbank in Munich (subsequently known as HypoVereinsbank following the merger). Chief Risk Officer on the Management Board, HypoVereinsbank, Munich, from 2003 to 2005. Since July 2006 member of the Management Board, BayernLB. Since March 2008 Chairman of the Management Board, BayernLB.
